Spring 2022 Newsletter Overview;

  • Honoring Exemplars of U.S. Equestrian Sport — Three prestigious awards were presented to four long-standing ambassadors of equestrian sport—Laura Kraut, Mimi Gochman, Bill Weeks, and Beth Johnson. 
  • Raising the Bar Campaign Goal Exceeded — As of December 30, 2021, the “Raising the Bar” Campaign exceeded the $40 million goal by $2.3 million. These funds will help ensure our U.S. equestrian teams maintain prominence on the greatest international stages. 
  • New Film ParaGold Supports Para Dressage — At a USET Foundation Benefit, a new film—ParaGold—from director Ron Davis, documents the inspiring journey of four U.S. para dressage athletes.
  • Anna Buffini’s Journey to the Top — US Equestrian’s High Performance Pathway Programs helped augment Buffini’s journey as she pursued her goals of representing the U.S. on a global stage. 
  • Plus — Takeaways from Dressage and Jumping Horsemastership Training Sessions, recaps of USEF Combined Driving National Championships and FEI Dressage and Jumping Nations Cup competitions, Will Coleman and Chin Tonic receive the 2022 Connaught Grant, as well as a memorial of highly accomplished horsewoman and USET Foundation Honorary Life Trustee, Helen Groves.
