Aachen, Germany – July 16, 2016 – The United State’s Beezie Madden scored the second place award in the Prize of AachenMünchener at CHIO Aachen on Saturday. She and Breitling LS, owned by Abigail Wexner, had a clear first round to advance to the jump-off during the winning round competition.
Going later in the order for the tiebreaker, she and the 6-year-old KWPN stallion were able to pull-off a faultless effort, while also shaving seconds off the clock. They broke the beam at 46.54 seconds, one second faster than third place’s Sergio Alvarez Moya of Spain, but still almost two seconds slower than Frances Roger Yves Bost, who took home the win.
McLain Ward also represented the United States during the second phase with HH Carlos Z, owned by Double H Farms, but they earned six faults during the tiebreaker to place 11th.
