West Sussex, England – July 31, 2016 – The Longines Royal International Horse Show wrapped up on Sunday at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead showgrounds with the Longines King George V Gold Cup. Lillie Keenan of New York, New York, and Chansonette Farm LLC and Ronnoco Jump Ltd.’s Super Sox produced a fast and faultless effort to finish third among the competitive field of international riders in 40.05 seconds.
Forty-eight horses and riders attempted Great Britain’s Kelvin Bywater’s challenging first round course, but only 13 were able to advance to the jump-off.
Keenan and the 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding rode to a double clear performance to clinch third place honors, while fellow U.S. rider, Katie Dinan of Wellington, Florida, also finished double clear in 44.38 seconds aboard Grant Road Partners LLC’s Nougat Du Vallet, a 15-year-old Selle Français gelding, to place seventh.
