West Sussex, England – July 30, 2016 – Lillie Keenan continued her streak of top placings at the Longines Royal International Horse Show at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead showgrounds on Saturday after assisting the Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team secure a fourth place finish in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™, presented by Longines, on Friday. The 20-year-old athlete from New York, New York, rode Chansonette Farm LLC’s Be Gentle to a clear round to take the fourth place spot on the leaderboard in the British Speed Classic.
Keenan was the only U.S. rider competing in the British Speed Classic on Saturday and was the early clear pathfinder of the class as fifth to go in the order. She piloted the 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare to a fault-free performance in 69.71 seconds to finish fourth out of the original starting field of 24 horses and riders.
