Dublin, Ireland – July 24, 2016 – On Sunday, top show jumpers from around the world closed out the historic Dublin Horse Show by competing in the Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland. The United States’ Audrey Coulter captured the third place honors aboard Capital Colnardo of Copernicus Stables as the fastest 4-faulter in the four-horse jump-off.
Lauren Hough also represented the United States in the main event, and had 4 faults in the first round with The Ohlala Group’s Ohlala to place eighth. Laura Kraut rounded out the top 12 with a 4-fault effort aboard St Bride’s Farm’s Cavalia.
Earlier in the day, Lauren Hough scored the winning honors during the 7 & 8-Year-Old Finals. She was double clear and faster by almost two seconds with Meredith Mateo’s Lady Davos to lead the lap of honor during the prestigious event.
The next outing for the U.S. Show Jumping Team with the Royal International Horse Show in Hickstead, Great Britain.
