The USET Foundation Performance Pathway Grant Program launched in 2025 with the goal of ensuring financial barriers do not hinder American equestrian athletes from representing the United States on the world stage. The initiative is designed to provide critical financial support to jumping riders (FEI Children’s through U25) who have earned the prestigious opportunity to compete as part of USEF-sponsored teams, competitions, and high performance programs. From developmental programs and competitions to senior teams, the costs associated with representing the U.S.—including rider and groom travel, horse transport, coaching, and training—can be significant. This program helps bridge that gap by offsetting the cost of participating in a specific USEF high performance program or competing as part of a U.S. team, ultimately ensuring that deserving athletes can focus on their performance rather than their expenses.

Riders may submit applications for the USET Foundation Performance Pathway Grants on a rolling basis for select USEF jumping programs in advance of official team selection or program invitation. Through this process, applicants can receive pre-approval for a grant based on their demonstrated financial needs. Pre-approval allows applicants to plan ahead for potential participation on a team and/or in a high performance program. If selected to the team or for the program, the funding request will be finalized and confirmed.
