Barcelona, Spain – Sept. 22, 2016 – The first round of the CSIO5* Barcelona Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Final concluded with Team USA on 0 faults, securing the team a spot in Saturday’s final.
During the first round of competition, Lauren Hough and the Ohlala Group’s Ohlala were the first to go clear for Team USA. Olympic team silver medalist Lucy Davis and Old Oak Farm’s Barron were also faultless over the technical track. Audrey Coulter and Copernicus Stables’ Capital Colnardo had 8 faults to be the drop score. As the anchor combination, Laura Kraut and Old Willow Farms LLC’s Zeremonie turned in the third clear round, with the U.S. team finishing on 0 faults to head into Saturday’s semi-final.
