Although she has been riding since the age of 14, Tracey Morgan’s driving career took off less than 20 years ago. Morgan has collected numerous wins and top placings in USEF Driving National Championships since 2003. From 2003-2009, she laid claim to the USEF Combined Driving Pair Ponies National Championship.
In 2007, Morgan first represented the U.S. at the FEI World Pony Driving Championship in Dorthealyst, Denmark, helping the U.S. Team earn the Bronze medal. She returned to the World Championship once again in 2009 when it took place in Greven-Bockholt, Germany.
In 2011, Morgan finished fourth in the FEI Pair Pony division at the Live Oak International and won the Advanced Pair Pony division at the Katydid Combined Driving Event (CDE).
Morgan made the switch to the Single Pony division in 2012 and found much success. She won the the Advanced Single Pony division at the Sunshine State CDE and the CAIP-B1 division at Little Everglades International with Declaration. Morgan then began her partnership with Fuego 88, with whom she has a strong partnership. They won their first competition together at the Hermitage Classic CDE, scoring top honors in the Advanced Single Pony division. Morgan and Fuego 88 went on to receive the USEF Single Pony Reserve National Champion title at the Kentucky Classic CDE to close out the season.
In 2013, Morgan and Fuego 88 began the year with a win at the Sunshine State CDE in the Advanced Single Pony division. They had two third-place finishes in the CAIP-B1 divisions at Little Everglades International and Live Oak International. Morgan then claimed her first USEF Combined Driving Single Pony National Championship title with Fuego 88 at the Southern Pines CDE. They finished out the year with two more Advanced Single Pony wins at the Glen Willow CDE and the Hermitage CDE.
Morgan won at almost every turn in 2014 with Fuego 88. They scored top honors in the Single Pony divisions at Live Oak International, Southern Pines CDE, and Glen Willow CDE. At the Kentucky Classic CDE, Morgan and Fuego 88 were third in the USEF Combined Driving Single Pony National Championship, also finishing third in the CAI2*-P1 division being run concurrently.
In 2015, Morgan has had another season of strong performances. Beginning at the Kingdom of the Sun CDE, she and Fuego 88 won the CAI2*-P1 division. They reclaimed their USEF Combined Driving Single Pony National Championship title at Live Oak International, also winning CAI2*-P1 division being run concurrently. Over the summer, Morgan and Fuego 88 headed to Europe. They had a top-15 finish at CAIO4* Minden in the Single Pony division. At CAI3* Beekbergen, Morgan and Fuego 88 were third in the National Single Pony division. At a National CDE in Beeds, The Netherlands, the combination was seventh in the Single Pony division.
Morgan is also a dressage competitor and has received Silver and Bronze Medals from the United States Dressage Federation.
