Mary Garrett began vaulting with Valley View Vaulters in 2002, and joined FACE in 2008 as a member of FACE: “The Wall,” coach Devon Maitozo’s second team. With “The Wall,” Garrett had the opportunity to train and compete in Germany for the summer of 2009, where she developed a taste for international team vaulting.
Garrett has competed individually for several years. At the 2004 USEF/AVA National Vaulting Championship, she won the Copper division. She finished in fourth place at the 2009 Kentucky Vaulting Cup in the Gold Women’s CVI2* aboard Palatine.
