Charlie Jacobs was raised by a family with a passion for horses. Growing up Jacobs rode at the family farm and competed in the international level while he was in high school. He took a seven-year hiatus from riding following his graduation from Boston College, returning in 2000.
Jacobs has become a contender in the jumping arena in recent years. In 2012, he helped the U.S. to the Team Gold medal in the FEI Nations Cup at CSIO2*-W Buenos Aires. Two years later, Jacobs represented the U.S. in his first Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final in Lyon, France.
