Cassidy Palmer

Hometown: Half Moon Bay, California
Discipline: Vaulting

Cassidy Palmer began vaulting in 2000 and very quickly made her mark on the sport competing successfully in the individual, pas-de-deux, and team divisions. In 2004, she earned the AVA/USEF National C Team Championship with her Half Moon Bay/Woodside Composite teammates and was second in the Bronze Individual Female division. In 2010, she won the Gold Individual Female division at the Great Falls Vaulters and Topaz Vaulters Spring Fest.

Vaulting is a family affair for the Palmers as Cassidy’s younger sister Kimberly and brother Colton are active competitors.

Cassidy and Kimberly teamed up in 2010 and quickly climbed the FEI pas-de-deux rankings, making them one of vaulting’s most exciting duos. Most notably, they won the FEI World Cup™ Vaulting 2013/2014 leg at the Stuttgart German Masters. In 2014, they represented the U.S. at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The sisters won five out of six pas-de-deux competitions in 2015, including a World Cup Final qualifying competition in Paris and at the Nations Cup competition in Verden.

Outside of vaulting, Palmer enjoys gymnastics, vacationing, and shopping.
