USET FOUNDATION YOUNG ADVISORY BOARD

Serving our sport. Serving our peers. Serving our Team.

The United States Equestrian Team Foundation, as philanthropic partner for US Equestrian, provides approximately 50% of the funds needed each year to support High Performance programs in all of the FEI championship disciplines, enabling them to field and prepare U.S. teams today, and those in the future.

Through US Equestrian’s Pathway Program – Emerging, Developing and Senior athletes are supported at all stages of their development. Your contribution to the USET Foundation can make all the difference to their future and the future of equestrian sport.

IDEA • GOAL • INITIATIVE

The genesis of this program arose from the need to engage, get to know and prepare the future leaders of US Equestrian philanthropic supporters—the next generation of the USET Foundation.

The primary goal of the YAB initiative is to provide information, increase awareness and build a community that understands and appreciates the impact of direct Pathway Program support for US Equestrian and the broader impact this support has on the sport and community as a whole. YAB will work with generations both senior to and junior to them to ensure program sustainability and success.

We hope to use the YAB initiative to get conversation going; to increase awareness; and to organize and to offer a complimentary and useful set of opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities to give back to the sport by supporting their peers and paving the way for athletes in the future.

Work with 8 FEI Championship Disciplines to lead the USET Foundation’s next generation.

Comprised of athletes, owners, breeders and supporters across disciplines, regions and generations within the 18-35 group, led by 11 YAB officers, augmented by 108 YAB ambassadors and supported by countless volunteers from all generations.

Lead initiatives in collaboration with the USET Foundation to increase awareness, create community and generate support for High Performance Programs while working with juniors to seniors for program success.
