Dublin, Ireland – July 21, 2016 – Jessica Springsteen had a good start to the 2016 Dublin Horse Show on Thursday with a third place finish in the Serpentine Speed Stakes aboard Stone Hill Farm’s Davendy S and a second place in the Anglesea Stakes with Stone Hill Farm’s Tiger Lily.
Springsteen and Davendy S, a 13-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare, bested 39 international horse and rider combinations in a fault-free performance in 71.09 seconds to earn the third spot on the leaderboard in the Serpentine Speed Stakes. The 24-year-old rider from Colts Neck, New Jersey, then piloted the 9-year-old Oldenburg mare, Tiger Lily, to a double-clear round in 39.59 seconds in the Anglesea Stakes to earn second place honors out of 47 exhibitors to round out the day’s competition.
The Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup, presented by Longines, will be held on Friday, July 22. The Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team at CSIO5* Dublin will be represented by Springsteen along with teammates Georgina Bloomberg, Audrey Coulter, Lauren Hough and Laura Kraut.
